My name is Lesley and I have over 30 years of secretarial and administration experience. In my last role, I was employed as a PA to a Company Director at a Chartered Surveyors, providing secretarial and administrative support, as well as carrying out the day to day running of the office, which I did for ten years, before going on to start my own transcription business in 2012.
With over 30 years experience of working in busy office environments, I have learned so much. I know what makes a good business and I believe that clients want a confidential, professional and reliable service which does not cost the earth. They want to know who they are dealing with, who is doing their work and to know they can call at any time to discuss their requirements, however challenging they may be.
Additionally, nobody wants to be tied into fixed contracts and whether it is a specific transcription which needs to be turned around in a couple of days, or a number of transcriptions over a period of time, this is what I can offer.
Using the skills, knowledge and experience I had acquired, in 2012 I set about starting my own business and gave it the name – ‘Midlands Transcription Services’, offering a professional and confidential audio transcription service to a wide range of professions and industries. This service is designed to fit seamlessly into your business to help you free up valuable time to focus on the more important elements of your business.
I take enormous pride in the accuracy and presentation of my work. I have developed strong and trusting relationships with existing clients because they know they always get a reliable and confidential transcription service they can trust.
Businesses and individuals trust me with their work and I take a very strict stance on confidentiality. I am happy to enter into any confidentiality agreement and I operate in a discreet manner. I never disclose any confidential details of work that I have undertaken, this is between me and my clients.
When you send your files via this website, they are encrypted and sent directly to a Secure Server over a protected SSL connection. You can send most media files via our ‘upload’ facility, including DS2, WMA, DSS, MP3, AMR & WAV, or if you would prefer, you can load your audio recording onto a USB memory stick and send it to us via post or by using a courier service.
In regards to making payments for services received, you can either have a ‘pay as you go’ service, or we can send you an invoice at the end of the month for payment to be made within thirty days, the choice is yours.
