Audio prices start from £1.00 per audio minute depending on your requirement.
The cost of audio typing very much depends on the clarity of the recording, number of speakers etc. This can also vary where the subject matter is of a technical nature or where the dialogue is particularly fast paced.
Audio files can be emailed, uploaded or posted. In order to give you an estimate of the likely costs and timescales, I would be happy to preview your recording beforehand.
Copy typing is based on an hourly rate of £20.00.
The finished transcripts are proofread at least twice, which is included in the cost. Copy typing can be done from handwritten or printed documents, but please be aware that a handwritten document will take longer to copy type than a printed document.
Simply scan and then email/post your documents to be copy typed and these will be converted into a clean, editable document. All finished work is proofread, spellchecked and checked for consistency and accuracy.
Audio transcription prices are subject to recordings being clear with no background noise. Each audio file is charged by the full minute and not by the second (e.g. 27:35 minutes would be priced at 28 minutes). Prices for more complex work will be given once we’ve received your enquiry. We will advise you as soon as possible if further costs will be incurred due to poor recordings.
Copy typing prices are subject to hand written documents being clear and easy to read. We will advise you as soon as possible if further costs will be incurred due to unclear handwriting.
A minimum charge of £20 applies to all work carried out plus any additional charges that might be incurred as mentioned above.
